The Only Chocolate Chip Cookie

  1. Cream butter and sugars together in a large mixing bowl using a wooden spoon. Add eggs. Stir in salt, baking powder, baking soda, vanilla, and flour until well combined.
  2. Place oatmeal and chocolate bar in a blender or food processor; blend until chocolate is chopped into small pieces. Add the oat and chocolate mixture to the cookie dough along with chocolate chips. Stir to combine.
  3. Roll dough into balls and place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake for 8-10 minutes at 400 degrees F; do not overbake.
  4. These freeze very well; my little brothers always preferred them frozen, and my friends always knew to search the freezer if they wanted a cookie!
