Thick And Chewy Brownies

  1. Preheat the oven to 180u0b0C (350u0b0F, Gas 4). Line a 8x8-inch baking pan with aluminium foil, spray with baking spray, and set aside.
  2. Whisk together flour, cornflour, and salt. Set aside.
  3. Whisk together melted butter, sugar, and cocoa powder until combined. Whisk in eggs, one at a time, then whisk in vanilla extract. Fold in dry ingredients until combined.
  4. Pour batter into prepared pan and spread out evenly. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the centre comes out almost clean with a few moist crumbs. Allow to cool completely in the pan on a wire rack before cutting into squares.
