Panna Cotta Berry Pie
- 3 cups Lukewarm Water, Divided
- 1/2 ounces, weight Unflavored Powdered Gelatin
- 3 cups Heavy Cream
- 2 Tablespoons Vanilla Extract
- 1/4 cups Sugar
- 1 package (14 Oz. Size) Pie Dough
- 1 cup Fresh Berries
- 2 Tablespoons Powdered Sugar
- To prepare the gelatin, pour 2 cups water in a medium saucepan on medium high heat. Place remaining 1 cup lukewarm water in a bowl and add gelatin. Let stand for 1 minute. When water in saucepan becomes hot, pour gelatin and water mixture in the saucepan and stir for 5 minutes.
- After gelatin has dissolved, add heavy cream, vanilla and sugar. Stir for 3 minutes. When all ingredients are mixed and heated, pour into a bowl. Refrigerate for about 3 hours or until the mixture has set.
- While gelatin is in the refrigerator, preheat oven to 375u0b0F. Divide pie dough into small tins. Bake for 10 minutes.
- When panna cotta is set, pour into pie crusts. Top with fresh berries and powdered sugar.
