“The Recipe”

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together the egg whites, sweetened condensed milk, chocolate syrup (to taste), and half-and-half. Don't worry if it's not totally blended yet, this won't completely whisk together until you add the liquor to break down the egg.
  2. Dissolve instant coffee (to taste) in a little hot water and whisk into the mix.
  3. Whisk in the brandy and whiskey.
  4. If needed, add more chocolate syrup, coffee flavoring, and liquor to taste.
  5. Funnel the recipe into a freezer-safe container and enjoy when slushy. Give it a good shake before serving.
  6. I have never made this recipe without doubling it, and it will take up about 3/4 of a gallon jug when doubled. Mom says that if it freezes, you don't have enough booze. So for a doubled recipe, I use 2 1/2 cups each of brandy and whiskey.
  7. Enjoy!
