Tom And Jerry Batter

  1. Beat egg whites till just before stiff peaks form. Add marshmallow creme and continue beating until well mixed. Remove to a large bowl.
  2. In a separate bowl, beat egg yolks until they are a lemon yellow color. Add powdered sugar and vanilla and combine well.
  3. Gently fold yolk mixture into the whites. Combine carefully and if you aren't using immediately, cover tightly and refrigerate.
  4. When you are ready to enjoy this, bring a large kettle of water to a boil. Dollop 1/4 to 1/3 cup of batter into a coffee mug. Add liquor to taste, usually 1/2 shot brandy and 1/2 shot rum. Fill the mug with water and sprinkle nutmeg liberally on top of each serving.
