Tom And Jerry Batter
- 6 whole Eggs, Separated
- 2 jars (7.5 Oz Jar) Marshmallow Creme
- 2 cups Powdered Sugar
- 1 Tablespoon Vanilla
- Christian Brothers Brandy, To Taste (Usually Half A Shot Per Serving)
- Light Bacardi Rum, To Taste (Usually Half A Shot Per Serving)
- 12 dashes Nutmeg, Or A Dash Per Serving
- Beat egg whites till just before stiff peaks form. Add marshmallow creme and continue beating until well mixed. Remove to a large bowl.
- In a separate bowl, beat egg yolks until they are a lemon yellow color. Add powdered sugar and vanilla and combine well.
- Gently fold yolk mixture into the whites. Combine carefully and if you aren't using immediately, cover tightly and refrigerate.
- When you are ready to enjoy this, bring a large kettle of water to a boil. Dollop 1/4 to 1/3 cup of batter into a coffee mug. Add liquor to taste, usually 1/2 shot brandy and 1/2 shot rum. Fill the mug with water and sprinkle nutmeg liberally on top of each serving.
