Herbed Baked Halibut

  1. Sprinkle fillets with lemon juice, herb seasoning and pepper. Marinate 10 to 20 minutes.
  2. Pour a bit of tomato sauce in the bottom of a small, shallow baking dish.
  3. Lay fish on top of sauce and bake in upper third of a preheated 375u0b0 oven for 10 minutes. Layer top of fish with onion, celery, green pepper, tomatoes and mushrooms.
  4. Pour remaining tomato sauce over vegetables and bake at 375u0b0 for 20 to 25 minutes or until fish flakes.
  5. If you like, the fish may be prepared and served directly in individual baking dishes.
  6. Yield:
