Easy Red Wine Marinade For Beef
- 5 cloves Garlic, Divided
- 1 Dry Bay Leaf
- 1/2 cups Newman's Own Lite Balsamic Vinaigrette Salad Dressing
- 1/2 cups Red Wine
- 2 Tablespoons Worcestershire Sauce
- 1/4 teaspoons Dried Thyme Leaves
- 1 Tablespoon Whole Black Peppercorns
- 2 teaspoons Dried, Minced Onions
- 1 Tablespoon Whole Coriander Seeds
- 2 sprigs Fresh Rosemary
- Peel and smash 3 cloves garlic, then peel and mince remaining 2 cloves of garlic. Set aside.
- In a large liquid measuring cup, measure salad dressing and red wine. Add garlic, Worcestershire sauce and all spices and whisk with fork.
- To use the marinage, place beef in a large plastic resealable bag. Pour marinade over meat and seal bag removing as much air as possible. Place bag (with meat inside) in a pan large enough that the beef lays flat (such as a 9 x 13 baking dish). Refrigerate 4 to 6 hours, turning bag once halfway through marinating time to distribute marinade evenly over meat. Remove meat from marinade and grill according to recipe.
- Makes a little more than 1 cup marinade.
