Chili Mostaccioli

  1. Combine meat, milk, crumbs, salt and pepper; shape into 5 oblong patties.
  2. In a pan, brown patties in hot shortening. Remove.
  3. Cook garlic and onion in skillet until tender, not brown. Blend in soup and water.
  4. Return patties to skillet.
  5. Bring mixture to boil; simmer, covered, 15 minutes.
  6. Cook mostaccioli according to package directions; drain.
  7. Place on large heated plater.
  8. Arrange patties on noodles.
  9. Pour sauce over meat. Sprinkle cheese atop.
  10. Serves 5.
