Apple Coffee Cake(Kosher)

  1. Heat oven to 350u0b0.
  2. Grease 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
  3. Mix pie filling and cinnamon; reserve.
  4. Beat flour, sugar, milk, softened margarine, baking powder, salt and eggs in large bowl on low speed, about 30 seconds.
  5. Beat at medium speed (2 minutes).
  6. Pour 1/2 of batter (about 2 cups) into pan.
  7. Spoon 1/2 of pie filling (about 1 cup) over batter in pan.
  8. Repeat with remaining batter and pie mixture.
  9. Sprinkle brown sugar and nuts over top of pie filling mixture; drizzle with melted margarine.
  10. Bake until wooden toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean, about 45 to 50 minutes.
  11. Serve warm.
  12. Makes 12 to 16 servings.
