Triple Chocolate Frozen Pie
- FOR THE FROZEN PIE DESSERT
- 4 cups Frozen Chocolate Yogurt, Softened
- 1/2 cups Hazelnut/Chocolate Creamy Spread (Nutella)
- 1/4 cups Chocolate Syrup (I Use Hershey Syrup)
- 1 whole 9" Chocolate Graham Cracker Crust Pie Shell (Store Bought)
- FOR THE TOPPING:
- 1 cup Heavy Cream
- 1/4 cups Granulated Sugar
- 1 teaspoon Pure Almond Extract
- FOR GARNISH BEFORE SERVING
- 1/4 cups Semi Sweet Chocolate Morsels Or Chocolate Shavings (your Choice)
- Working quickly in a large mixing bowl add chocolate frozen yogurt, Nutella or other hazelnut-chocolate spread and chocolate syrup and hand mix with a spatula.
- In another bowl add heavy cream, sugar and almond extract and whip the mixture using a hand mixer on high until it peaks.
- In the chocolate graham cracker pie crust add frozen chocolate yogurt mixture and spread it out with an offset spatula. Add whipped topping and place pie in the freezer for 2-3 hours before serving.
- Add garnish of semi sweet chocolate morsels or chocolate shavings to the top before serving. Triple the pleasure and triple the fun! This is a big hit in my household. Hope you will enjoy!
