Triple Chocolate Oreo Oatmeal Cookies
- 2 sticks Butter, Softened
- 3/4 cups Brown Sugar
- 1/2 cups Granulated Sugar
- 2 whole Eggs
- 1/4 cups Water
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla
- 1-1/2 cup Flour
- 1/2 cups Cocoa Powder
- 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
- 1/2 teaspoons Salt
- 3 cups Old Fashioned Rolled Oats
- 1 cup Chocolate Chips
- 1 cup Crushed Oreos (heaping Cup)
- Preheat oven to 350 F.
- In a large bowl cream together the butter and sugars until light and fluffy. Add in the eggs, water and vanilla and mix until well-combined. Add in the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, salt and oats. Mix until just combined. Fold in the chips and the Oreos. Batter will be thick and lumpy and that's exactly how it should be!
- Drop dough by the tablespoonful onto a baking sheet that you've lined with parchment paper or a Silpat. Bake at 350 F for 9-12 minutes or until the middle is just set and the bottom has started to brown slightly. Remove them from the oven and let cookies cool for about 5 minutes before digging in.
