Best Ever Beef Stew
- 1 Onion, Chopped
- 4 cloves Garlic, Chopped
- 1/2 cups Butter
- 8 stalks Celery, Chopped
- 10 Carrots, Chopped
- 6 Potatoes, Chopped
- 1 cup Fresh Or Frozen Green Beans
- 2 quarts Beef Broth
- 2 cups Cooked Beef (cubed, Shredded Or Ground)
- 2 Tablespoons Worcestershire Sauce
- 3 Bay Leaves
- 1 Tablespoon Dry Minced Onions
- 1 teaspoon Onion Powder
- 1/4 teaspoons Garlic Powder
- Salt And Pepper, to taste
- 2 cups Milk
- 1/4 cups Cornstarch
- Saute onions and garlic in butter until golden brown. Add celery and continue to saute for a few minutes. Add carrots, saute for another few minutes. Add all other ingredients except milk and cornstarch. Add enough water to cover ingredients by 2-3 inches. Bring to a boil and simmer until vegetables are tender (or cook in a pressure cooker on high pressure for 10 minutes).
- Remove bay leaves. Whisk together milk and cornstarch. Stir into soup and heat until slightly thickened. Serve and enjoy!
