Best Ever Beef Stew

  1. Saute onions and garlic in butter until golden brown. Add celery and continue to saute for a few minutes. Add carrots, saute for another few minutes. Add all other ingredients except milk and cornstarch. Add enough water to cover ingredients by 2-3 inches. Bring to a boil and simmer until vegetables are tender (or cook in a pressure cooker on high pressure for 10 minutes).
  2. Remove bay leaves. Whisk together milk and cornstarch. Stir into soup and heat until slightly thickened. Serve and enjoy!
