Prune Conserve
- 2 whole oranges, cut into thin slices, halved, then quartered
- 1/2 c. chopped pecans
- 2 c. sugar
- 1 c. water
- 2 lb. prunes, cut into quarters
- 1 (4 1/2 oz.) can deviled ham
- 2 1/2 tsp. grated onion
- dash of liquid red pepper seasoning
- 1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 loaf unsliced bread (white or whole wheat)
- 5 ripe olives, chopped
- 1 whole pimento, chopped
- 1 tsp. prepared mustard
- 1/2 tsp. anchovy paste
- 1 (4 1/4 oz.) can chicken spread
- 1 c. (2 sticks) butter or oleo, softened
- 3 c. finely chopped parsley (about 2 large bunches)
- Combine ham, mustard, 1 teaspoon of grated onion and red pepper seasoning in a small bowl.
