Pastel De Elote

  1. Sift
  2. flour, measure and sift with corn meal and baking powder and
  3. salt
  4. into mixing bowl.
  5. Cream butter and sugar in another bowl
  6. and add eggs one at a time, mixing in well.
  7. Add chilies, corn
  8. and
  9. cheese;tix well.
  10. Blend creamed mixture into flour mixture.
  11. Pour into greased and floured baking dish (8 x
  12. 12
  13. x 2-inch) and put into preheated oven (350u0b0).
  14. Bake for 5
  15. minutes att50u0b0
  16. and
  17. reduce
  18. to 300u0b0 and bake for 55 minutes.
  19. Time of preparation: 30 minutes.
  20. Serves 8.
