Chocolate Chip Cookies

  1. Preheat oven to 375.
  2. In a large bowl, mix the flour, salt, baking soda, and nutmeg.
  3. In a separate bowl, beat together the butter, sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla. Beat until light and creamy.
  4. Add in eggs one at a time until fully blended.
  5. Add in flour mixture gradually.
  6. Add in chocolate chips.
  7. Spoon dough onto either a sil-pat lined cookie sheet or a greased cookie sheet.
  8. Bake for 9-11 minutes until golden brown.
  9. *The issue of the nutmeg - well, ground nutmeg will do if that is all you have, but the major difference is in having a microplane and fresh, whole nutmeg. But, it's up to you.
