Pop'S Pasta Salad
- 1 (1 lb.) pkg. spiral pasta
- 1 large onion
- 2 ripe bell peppers (red and yellow)
- 1 large carrot
- 2 sticks celery
- 1 can pitted ripe olives
- 1 (8 oz.) bottle kraft Zesty Italian salad dressing
- 1/2 c. white vinegar
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- pickled pepper rings, green olives, green bell peppers (optional)
- 2 Tbsp. olive oil
- Boil pasta 1 minute; add onion (sliced lengthwise).
- One minute later, add carrot (sliced in small sticks).
- One minute later, add celery (sliced in small sticks).
- When pasta is al dente stage (5 minutes), drain.
- Add vinegar, sugar, ripe olives (cut up) and optionals.
- Stir in salad dressing; add cut up ripe peppers.
- Cool as quickly as possible.
- Voila.
