Deluxe Pecan Chocolate Cookies
- 2 3/4 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 1/4 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 1/2 c. butter, softened
- 1 1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1 (24 oz.) pkg. Nestle Toll House semi-sweet chocolate morsels (4 c.)
- 1 c. chopped pecans
- Preheat oven to 375u0b0.
- In a bowl, combine flour, baking soda and salt. Set aside.
- In a bowl, combine butter and brown sugar. Beat until creamy. Add eggs and vanilla extract.
- Beat until light and fluffy. Gradually blend in flour mixture.
- Stir in morsels and pecans. Drop by well rounded teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake at 375u0b0 for 10 to 12 minutes.
- Allow to stand 2 to 3 minutes before removing from cookie sheet. Cool.
- Makes 3 dozen.
