Hamburger Mixture For Spaghetti
- 2 lb. hamburger meat, browned
- 2 medium chopped onions
- little garlic or garlic clove
- 3 c. water
- 1 can tomato sauce (medium size)
- 1/2 chopped green pepper
- 3/4 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 pinches oregano
- a little chili powder
- 2 cans button mushrooms
- 1 qt. tomatoes
- 1 tsp. sugar
- small ground cloves
- Cook hamburger meat with the onions and garlic.
- In a separate large pan, add the tomatoes, tomato sauce, water, green pepper, cinnamon, salt, oregano, chili powder and the mushrooms.
- Add meat mixture.
- Bring to boil, then turn heat down and simmer a long time, uncovered, stirring occasionally.
- Add small amount of sugar.
- Pour this over cooked spaghetti.
- Serve with garlic bread toast and salad.
