Basic Pasta Salad
- 1 box Pasta
- 1 whole Tomato
- 1 whole Large Banana Pepper
- 4 whole Green Onions
- 1 can Black Olives
- 1 Tablespoon Garlic
- 1 Tablespoon Dill Weed
- 1 Tablespoon Chopped Parsley
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 teaspoon Pepper
- 4 Tablespoons Italian Dressing Or Olive Oil
- 1) Cook pasta according to directions on box (normally around 10 min). You can use the whole box or a half and basically any pasta you like. In this instance I used multigrain bowtie pasta.
- 2) Chop tomato, pepper and onions while you wait on the pasta to cook.
- 3) Drain and rinse the pasta - place into a large bowl.
- 4) Combine all the ingredients together in the bowl. I normally dump the veggies on, then the seasonings and drizzle the oil/dressing all over it.
- 5) Toss all the ingredients together and chill in the refrigerator (or eat immediately if you don't mind it a bit warm).
- Cooks Notes:
- Try this with fresh spinach shredded, green pepper, red pepper, orange peppers.
- Fresh Parmesan cheese lightly sprinkled on the top of each serving is divine!
