Easy Falafel
- FOR THE FALAFEL:
- 425 grams Canned Chickpeas
- 1/3 cups Chopped Parsley
- 3 Onions
- 3 cloves Garlic
- 2 Tablespoons Sesame Seeds
- 1 teaspoon Ground Cumin
- 1/4 teaspoons Salt
- 1/4 teaspoons Pepper
- 4 Tablespoons Flour
- 2 Tablespoons Oil
- FOR SAUCE
- 1/2 Tablespoons Lemon Juice
- 3 Tablespoons Hummus
- 1 teaspoon Dill
- 3 cloves Garlic, Pressed
- 1 pinch Salt
- 50 milliliters Water
- Wash chickpeas with cold water and drain dry. Add to a blender. Add parsley, onions, garlic, sesame seeds, cumin, salt, and pepper. Blend into small pieces.
- Transfer everything into a bowl. Add flour and mix. Gather into a ball, cover, and refrigerate for 1 hour.
- Form small pancakes or balls (or any form you like). Add oil to a pan and fry on both sides, about 6-8 minutes.
- For the sauce, in a bowl add lemon juice, hummus, dill, garlic, and salt. Add a little bit of water and mix.
- Serve falafel with sauce and enjoy.
