Best Chili Ever
- 1 pound Ground Chuck
- 1 pound Hot Italian Sausage, Casings Removed And Broken Into Chunks
- 1 whole Green Bell Pepper, Diced
- 1 whole Onion, Diced
- 3 cloves Garlic, Minced
- 1/4 cups Chili Powder
- 12 ounces, fluid Beer Of Your Choice
- 1 whole 40 Oz. Can Dark Red Kidney Beans
- 1 whole (28 Oz. Can) Diced Tomatoes
- 1 whole (28 Oz. Can) Tomato Sauce
- 1 whole Packet Hot Cocoa Mix (NOT With Marshmallows)
- 2 whole Jalapeno Peppers, Seeded And Finely Diced
- 1 whole Habenero Pepper, Top Cut Off
- 1 whole Hot Cherry Pepper, Top Cut Off
- 1. In large pot, brown beef and sausage. Drain.
- 2. Add green pepper, onion, garlic, and chili powder. Stir and cook 2-3 minutes.
- 3. Add beer and stir to loosen any browned bits on bottom of pot.
- 4. Add remaining ingredients, and bring to a boil.
- 5. Reduce heat and simmer covered 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
- 6. Remove lid and simmer another 1-1 1/2 hours, or until desired consistency, stirring occasionally.
- 7. Remove habenero and cherry peppers before serving.
