Deep Fried Oreos
- 1 container Vegetable Oil
- 1 container Oreos
- 1 cup Baking Mix (Like Bisquick)
- 1-1/4 cup Milk
- 1/2 cups Powdered Sugar
- Begin by heating your deep fryer to 350 degrees, or adding vegetable oil to a pan at least 3 inches deep and heat oil to 350 degrees.
- Mix 1 cup of baking mix with 1-1/4 cup of milk. Decide how many Oreos you want to fry and get those out - there will be enough batter to fry a whole package of Oreos.
- Once the oil is hot enough, coat your Oreos in batter (it only takes a thin coat because the batter will swell during frying) and gently place them in your deep fryer/pan. Let the Oreos cook until golden brown on each side and flip - usually takes 1-2 minutes to brown properly. Remove when golden brown and and lay on paper towel to absorb excess oil.
- Once the Oreos have drained and cooled a bit, dust them heavily with powdered sugar and enjoy while they're warm!
