Fresh Pepper Medly With Vermouth
- 5 whole Hungarian Sweet Banana Pepper
- 2 whole Hungarian Hot Banana Peppers
- 2 whole Green Bell Peppers
- 1 whole Red Bell Pepper
- 2 whole Jalapeno Peppers (opt)
- 2 cloves Garlic, Sliced
- 1 whole Onion, Sliced
- 1 Tablespoon Oregano
- 1 teaspoon Basil
- 1/4 cups Chopped Parsley
- 1 cup Dry Vermouth Wine
- 1 dash Salt And Pepper, to taste
- 2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
- Seed and devein peppers, cutting them all into long strips.
- Coat a large frying or saute pan with the olive oil. On med/high heat add: peppers, onion, garlic. Season with salt, pepper, and herbs.
- Saute until peppers begin to get slightly limp. Add Vermouth and cover and simmer until tender (15-20 minutes).
- Great as side dish for polish sausage or other meats.
