Hidden Kisses
- 9 ounces, weight Hershey's Kisses, Unwrapped
- 2 sticks Margarine (NOT BUTTER), Softened
- 1/3 cups Sugar
- 1/3 cups Brown Sugar
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
- 2 cups Flour
- 1 cup Mini Semisweet Chocolate Chips
- Unwrap all of the candies in the bag. There should be about 4 dozen. Set aside.
- Cream together margarine and sugars. Add vanilla.
- Slowly incorporate flour until dough comes together nicely. Do not overmix, or it could get crumbly. This is a shortbread cookie dough, not the usual chocolate chip cookie dough.
- Add chocolate chips. This dough will seem hard to work with, but persist. The end result is amazing!
- Take a small amount of dough and encase 1 kiss inside of dough. Experiment to see how little dough you can use and still hide the kiss. This will result in the best chocolate to cookie ration-YUM!
- Place on ungreased or parchment paper lined (optional) cookie sheet and bake at 375 for 10-11 min. You'll want to remove these before they brown.
- I dare you to eat just one! Feel free to email me if you have any questions.
- ENJOY!
