Very Berry Crisp

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
  2. For Filling: Thaw fruit completely in a large bowl at room temperature. Do not drain juices once thawed. Stir in 4 tablespoons of granulated sugar (or Honey Granules) and 3 tablespoons of flour. Pour into a 2-quart square baking dish.
  3. For Topping: In a medium bowl combine the oats, brown sugar (or Sucanat), remaining 1/4 cup flour, and cinnamon. Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in walnuts. Sprinkle topping over filling.
  4. Bake uncovered for 35-40 minutes or until fruit is bubbling and topping is golden. Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
