Very Chocolatey Chocolate Chunk Cookies

  1. 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. 2. Melt semisweet chips on the stovetop, or microwave in a glass bowl for about 2 1/2 minutes, stirring every 30 seconds.
  3. 3. Combine sugar and butter, and then add melted chocolate. When combined and slightly cooled, add eggs and vanilla. Mix in baking powder, salt, and flour, and then stir in chocolate chunks.
  4. 4. Form cookies into balls, and then flatten on cookie sheets. (The cookies don't have a lot of butter, so they won't spread out on the pan very much by themselves.)
  5. 5. Bake 11-12 minutes. Let cookies sit on pan a few minutes before transferring them to a cooling rack.
