Italian Beef Casserole(Microwave)
- 1 lb. lean ground beef
- 1 (15 1/2 oz.) can spaghetti sauce
- 1 1/4 c. water
- 1 (16 oz.) can cut green beans
- 1 (7 oz.) pkg. elbow macaroni
- 2 Tbsp. dry onion flakes
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. Italian seasoning
- 1/2 tsp. garlic powder or more
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 1 c. shredded Mozzarella cheese
- Place beef in a 3-quart casserole.
- Break with fork.
- Use "Cook" cycle and cook 6 to 8 minutes in microwave until meat changes color.
- Break up any remaining large pieces.
- Add remaining ingredients except cheese.
- Mix well and cover.
- Use "Cook" cycle for 10 minutes.
- Stir and cover.
- Cook for 14 minutes.
- Sprinkle with cheese.
- Cover and let stand 10 minutes before serving.
