Banana Bars With Cream Cheese Frosting
- FOR THE BARS:
- 1/2 cups Butter, Softened
- 1-1/2 cup Sugar
- 2 Eggs
- 1 cup Sour Cream
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
- 2 cups All-purpose Flour
- 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
- 1/4 teaspoons Salt
- 3 Ripe Bananas
- FOR THE FROSTING:
- 1 package (8 Oz. Size) Cream Cheese
- 1/2 cups Butter, Softened
- 2 teaspoons Vanilla Extracts
- 4 cups Powdered Sugar
- Preheat oven to 350u0b0F.
- In a large bowl, cream together butter and sugar. Add eggs, sour cream and vanilla extract. Mix well.
- In a smaller bowl, mix flour, baking soda, and salt. Add to wet mixture. Mash bananas and fold into the mixture.
- Place into a greased jelly roll pan. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown. Let cool.
- For the frosting, cream together cream cheese, butter, and vanilla extract. Add powdered sugar 1 cup at a time, mixing well. Spread over cooled bars and store in fridge until ready to serve.
