Healthy Chocolate Chip Cookies
- 3/4 cups Splenda (can Use Regular Sugar As Well Or Other Low-cal Sweetener)
- 3/4 cups Packed Brown Sugar
- 1/2 cups Margarine
- 1/4 cups Applesauce
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla
- 1 whole Egg (or Egg Substitute)
- 2 cups Whole Wheat Flour
- 1-1/2 teaspoon Baking Soda
- 1/2 teaspoons Salt
- 1 package Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
- 1. Heat oven to 375u0b0F.
- 2. Mix sugars, margarine and applesauce in large bowl and beat until light and fluffy. Add vanilla and egg.
- 3. Sift together flour, baking soda and salt. Add to wet mixture (dough will be stiff). Stir in chocolate chips. Drop dough by rounded tablespoonfuls about 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheet.
- 3. Bake 7 to 10 minutes or until light brown (centers will be soft). Cool slightly; remove from cookie sheet. Cool on wire rack.
- Best enjoyed warm.
