Pasta Salad A La Cochon

  1. Cook the pasta, set it aside in a bowl...just waiting for the good stuff.
  2. Cut the bacon into chunks and fry 'em up good.
  3. Chop the zucchini and saute it in - *gasp* dare I say it? - the bacon grease.
  4. Throw this all in the bowl with the pasta, add the oil, salt, pepper and garlic and mix it up!!!
  5. I couldn't wait....I ate it warm. I'm sure it would taste just as loverly cold, but hoo-wee! It was fabulous when it was warm!
  6. You might need to add a little more oil, it depends on how much of the bacon grease you drained. I'm just guessing at the amount. As I said, I made it up and I don't measure when I do that. Should I? Who knows.
