Pasta Salad A La Cochon
- 2 cups Cooked Pasta (I Used Bowtie Because It's Pretty)
- 4 strips Thick Cut Bacon
- 1 cup Zucchini From Your Neighbors Garden!
- 1 Tablespoon Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1/2 teaspoons Pepper
- 1 teaspoon Garlic
- Cook the pasta, set it aside in a bowl...just waiting for the good stuff.
- Cut the bacon into chunks and fry 'em up good.
- Chop the zucchini and saute it in - *gasp* dare I say it? - the bacon grease.
- Throw this all in the bowl with the pasta, add the oil, salt, pepper and garlic and mix it up!!!
- I couldn't wait....I ate it warm. I'm sure it would taste just as loverly cold, but hoo-wee! It was fabulous when it was warm!
- You might need to add a little more oil, it depends on how much of the bacon grease you drained. I'm just guessing at the amount. As I said, I made it up and I don't measure when I do that. Should I? Who knows.
