White Chocolate Cinnamon Biscuits
- 2 cups All-purpose Flour
- 2 teaspoons Sugar
- 2 teaspoons Baking Powder
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1-1/2 teaspoon Cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoons Baking Soda
- 1 cup Buttermilk, Chilled
- 4 Tablespoons Melted Butter
- 1 cup White Chocolate Chips
- FOR THE GLAZE:
- 3/4 cups Powdered Sugar
- 3 Tablespoons Heavy Cream
- Preheat oven to 450u0b0F. Line a large baking pan with parchment paper or a Silpat mat. Set aside.
- In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and baking soda. Whisk to combine.
- Pour in the buttermilk and melted butter, stirring to ensure that there are no lumps. Gently fold in white chocolate chips.
- Drop dough by spoonfuls onto prepared baking pan. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until biscuits are slightly golden brown and firm. Remove from oven and let cool for 10 minutes on pan, then move to a wire rack to cool completely.
- To make the glaze, whisk together powdered sugar and heavy cream in a large bowl. Drizzle over cooled biscuits.
