White Chocolate Macadamia Valentine Truffles

  1. Heat butter in a double boiler over medium-low heat until melted. Add chocolate chips and whipping cream, stirring until chocolate chips are melted and mixture is smooth.
  2. Remove from heat, cover, and refrigerate until mixture is firm- at least 2 hours. I like to put this in the coldest part of my refrigerator.
  3. Once chilled, stir in the nuts, roll into balls, then roll in melted white chocolate coating. Top with heart sprinkles (if desired).
  4. If you have the patience, you can let the chocolate harden up at room temperature, but I like to pop the truffles back into the fridge to help speed the process along.
  5. Place into a decorative candy box and give to someone you love.
