White Chocolate Macadamia Valentine Truffles
- 1 cup White Chocolate Chips
- 7 Tablespoons Whipping Cream
- 1 Tablespoon Unsalted Butter
- 2/3 cups Macadamia Nuts, Coarsely Ground
- ________
- 8 ounces, weight Meltable White Chocolate
- Heat butter in a double boiler over medium-low heat until melted. Add chocolate chips and whipping cream, stirring until chocolate chips are melted and mixture is smooth.
- Remove from heat, cover, and refrigerate until mixture is firm- at least 2 hours. I like to put this in the coldest part of my refrigerator.
- Once chilled, stir in the nuts, roll into balls, then roll in melted white chocolate coating. Top with heart sprinkles (if desired).
- If you have the patience, you can let the chocolate harden up at room temperature, but I like to pop the truffles back into the fridge to help speed the process along.
- Place into a decorative candy box and give to someone you love.
