Funny Face Cookies
- 15 oz. pkg. Pillsbury All-Ready pie crusts
- 1 egg white
- 1 tsp. almond extract
- sugar
- sliced gumdrops, sliced jelly beans, chocolate chips or candy coated chocolate pieces
- Allow both crust pouches to stand at room temperature for 15 to 20 minutes.
- Heat oven to 450u0b0.
- In small bowl, lightly beat egg white and almond extract; set aside.
- Cut dough rounds from crusts with floured 2 1/2-inch round cookie cutter.
- (Reserve dough scraps.)
- Place 1 inch apart on ungreased cookie sheets. Brush with egg white mixture; sprinkle with sugar.
- Make funny faces with desired candy topping and reserved dough scraps.
- Brush dough scraps with egg white mixture and sprinkle with sugar.
- Bake at 450u0b0 for 5 to 7 minutes or until light golden brown. Immediately remove from cookie sheets.
- Makes 2 dozen cookies.
