Pork Cutlets With Mozzarella
- 6 pork cutlets
- flour
- 1 egg, beaten with 2 Tbsp. milk
- 1/2 c. bread crumbs
- 3 Tbsp. Parmesan cheese
- 3 Tbsp. butter
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 green pepper, sliced
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 1/4 tsp. oregano
- 6 slices Mozzarella
- Coat cutlets with flour and dip in egg mixture, then in bread crumbs mixed with Parmesan cheese.
- Heat butter in skillet and brown cutlets on both sides.
- Remove to a casserole dish.
- Saute onion, garlic and green pepper in a skillet for about 5 minutes. Add tomato sauce and oregano.
- Pour sauce over cutlets, cover and bake at 325u0b0 for 1 hour.
- Remove cover, top with cheese and bake until cheese is melted.
