Easy Cool Whip Icing

  1. Mix all ingredients together. Please note: You do not make the pudding; you just dump the powder in with all the other ingredients!
  2. After you have it all mixed up, place on the cooled cakes or cupcakes. Store in the fridge overnight or until you are ready to serve. Because the icing can be kinda runny it is best to let your cake or cupcakes sit in the fridge for awhile to allow the icing to become stiff.
  3. You can add whatever flavor pudding mix you want to change it up a bit. For these particular ones pictured, I used the Devil's Food pudding mix, Devil's food cupcakes from a box and made chocolate shavings to go on top. This recipe will cover a whole cake or about 36 cupcakes.
  4. This makes for a great alternative to regular icing as a nice cold treat. So go on, make this recipe now, and whip it. Whip it good.
