Play Dough 2

  1. Remove crusts from bread.
  2. Tear bread into small pieces. Place pieces in a bowl.
  3. Add glue and mix together with fingers. Knead until mixture no longer sticks to fingers and has a smooth texture.
  4. Dough may be mixed ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator in a plastic bag; it will remain usable for weeks. For ease in handling dough, put a small amount of glycerine or hand lotion on fingertips.
  5. Once the project is shaped, allow it to air-dry for two days.
  6. Dried projects may be painted with water based paints, acrylics or oils.
  7. Spray with clear acrylic all over.
  8. Fingernail polish can also be used to paint and seal.
