Whole Wheat Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Cookies
- 1/2 cups Brown Sugar
- 1/2 cups Granulated Sugar
- 1/2 cups Butter, Softened
- 1 whole Egg
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
- 1 Tablespoon Milk
- 1 cup Whole Wheat Flour
- 1/2 teaspoons Baking Soda
- 1/2 teaspoons Baking Powder
- 1/2 teaspoons Salt
- 1 cup Rolled Oats
- 3/4 cups Semisweet Chocolate Chips
- First, mix the brown sugar and granulated sugar together. Next, cream the sugar with the softened butter. Add in the egg, vanilla and milk and mix until smooth.
- In a separate bowl, mix the whole wheat flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt.
- Mix the dry mixture into the wet until blended well. Once smooth, stir in the oats and the chocolate chips.
- Grease a cookie sheet and place the cookie dough onto the sheet (use a teaspoon if you like smaller cookies and a tablespoon for larger cookies).
- Bake at 350u0b0F for about 12-15 minutes (I baked mine for about 13 minutes and they were perfectly chewy).
