Terrific Taco Biscuit
- 1 (10 oz.) can biscuits
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 (15.5 oz.) can chili beans, undrained
- 1 taco seasoning pkg.
- 1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
- 1/2 c. crushed corn chips
- 1/2 c. shredded lettuce
- 1/4 c. chopped tomato
- Heat oven to 400u0b0.
- Separate dough into 10 biscuits.
- Arrange 7 biscuits around sides and 3 on bottom of ungreased 9-inch pie pan.
- Press biscuits to form crust (biscuits will form scalloped edge around rim of pan).
- In large skillet, brown ground beef; drain.
- Stir in beans and seasoning mix.
- Reduce heat; simmer for 5 minutes.
- Spoon hot mixture into biscuit lined pan.
- Bake at 400u0b0 for 12 to 16 minutes or until crust is golden.
- Immediately top with cheese, chips, lettuce and tomato.
- Allow to cool 5 minutes before cutting into wedges.
- Serves 6.
