Whoopie Pies

  1. Preheat oven to 425u0b0F.
  2. For the cake patties, beat together sugar and butter. Add egg and mix until combined. Sift together dry ingredients in a separate bowl. Add the flour mixture and milk and mix well. Drop on an un-greased cookie sheet by small tablespoonfuls. Bake 5 to 7 minutes. Once cooled, transfer to a wire rack.
  3. For the filling, beat together ingredients until smooth. Pipe the mixture in between cooled cake patties or spread with a butter knife. Enjoy!
