Whoopie Pies
- FOR THE CAKE PATTIES:
- 1 cup Sugar
- 5 Tablespoons Butter, At Room Temperature
- 1 Egg
- 2 cups Flour
- 5 Tablespoons Cocoa Powder
- 1-1/2 teaspoon Baking Soda
- 1 cup Milk
- FOR THE FILLING:
- 1-1/2 cup Butter
- 1-1/2 cup Powdered Sugar
- 1-1/2 cup Marshmallow Fluff
- 1/4 teaspoons Salt
- 2 teaspoons Vanilla
- Preheat oven to 425u0b0F.
- For the cake patties, beat together sugar and butter. Add egg and mix until combined. Sift together dry ingredients in a separate bowl. Add the flour mixture and milk and mix well. Drop on an un-greased cookie sheet by small tablespoonfuls. Bake 5 to 7 minutes. Once cooled, transfer to a wire rack.
- For the filling, beat together ingredients until smooth. Pipe the mixture in between cooled cake patties or spread with a butter knife. Enjoy!
