Stir Fried Bok Choy

  1. Toast sesame seeds in a dry skillet over medium heat until light browned, approximately 2-3 minutes. Toss or stir frequently to keep from burning. Remove and place in a small bowl.
  2. Heat canola oil in the same skillet over medium high heat. Add ginger, onion and bok choy. Cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring frequently. Add garlic, red pepper and soy sauce and cook for additional 1 minute. Sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds and serve immediately.
  3. Note: Remove the bottom 2 inches of the thick bulb of bok choy. Chop bok choy and rinse thoroughly in a colander. Shake as much of the water out as possible. Dry excess water with a paper towel.
