Wicked French Bread
- 1 loaf French Breach
- 1 stick Butter, Softened
- 1 cup Mayonnaise
- 1 cup Shredded Cheese
- 1/2 teaspoons Garlic Powder
- Cut loaf bread in half, lengthwise, and place on a cookie sheet
- Mix together butter, Mayo, Cheese, and garlic powder in a bowl. Butter should be soft enough to mix, but doesn't need to be melted. Small chunks are good. Very good.
- Spread the mix on the two halves of bread, generously.
- Here's where you can get creative and add onion, bacon, chives, or any other topping you like. But it's oh-so-good just like it is too.
- Stick the bread into the over at about 350 just until the edges are toasty, and everything is melted and gooey.
- Serves 5-10....or 1
- Also great to make this and then stack warm, freshly cut ham or turkey and then reassemble for an out of this world sub to share... or not.
