Wicked Good Apple Cake
- 3 cups Flour
- 1/2 teaspoons Salt
- 3 teaspoons Baking Powder
- 2 cups Sugar
- 1/4 cups Orange Juice
- 2-1/2 teaspoons Vanilla
- 4 whole Eggs
- 1 cup Oil (Corn Is Preferred)
- 2 teaspoons Cinnamon
- 7 whole Apples Peeled And Thinly Sliced
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
- Sift flour, salt and baking powder together and set aside.
- In a large mixing bowl, mix together sugar, orange juice, vanilla, eggs and oil. Gradually add dry ingredients until well combined.
- Take peeled and sliced apples and coat with a layer of cinnamon (best done in a plastic bag).
- Grease and flour a bundt pan and then pour a thin layer of batter on the bottom. Layer some apples and then add another layer of batter and continue alternating apples and batter until finished (you should try for five to six layers if possible).
- Bake for 1 to 1 1/2 hours until a pick comes clean when placed in the middle. Top with homemade whipped cream and enjoy.
