Toffee Almond Cookies
- 1 cup Butter
- 1 cup Vegetable Oil
- 1 cup Sugar
- 1 cup Confectioners Sugar
- 2 whole Large Eggs
- 1-1/2 teaspoon Almond Extract
- 1 teaspoon Cream Of Tartar
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1-1/2 teaspoon Baking Soda
- 4-1/2 cups All-purpose Flour
- 1 package Toffee Bits, 8 Ounce Bag
- 2 cups Sliced Almonds
- Cream butter, oil, sugars, eggs and almond extract until light and fluffy.
- In separate bowl, combine cream of tartar, salt, baking soda and flour.
- Add the dry ingredients to the creamed butter mixture. Mix in toffee bits and almonds.
- Use a small cookie scoop to drop balls of dough onto ungreased cookie sheets. Flatten to about 3/8" thickness with the palm of your hand.
- Bake at 350u0b0F for 10 to 13 minutes. Makes 7 dozen.
