Chocolate Delight
- 1 1/2 sticks margarine
- 1 1/2 c. self-rising flour
- 1 c. chopped nuts
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese (soften ahead of time)
- 1 c. Cool Whip
- 1 c. sifted powdered sugar
- 2 pkg. instant chocolate pudding mix (any flavor may be used)
- 3 c. milk (whole milk)
- 1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
- 1 tsp. brown sugar (can be omitted)
- Melt margarine in saucepan.
- Remove from stove and add flour and nuts.
- Spread in a 10 x 13-inch Pyrex.
- Bake at 350u0b0 for 15 minutes.
- Cool.
- (Baking time may vary.)
- Cream the cream cheese, Cool Whip and powdered sugar.
- Spread on cooled crust.
- Mix chocolate pudding mix, milk, vanilla and brown sugar with mixer until pudding stage (not too thick).
- Spread on cream cheese mixture.
- Cover with an 8 ounce container Cool Whip.
