Wonton Soup
- 20 pieces Precoooked Shrimp (I Use Frozen)
- 1 pound Ground Pork (uncooked)
- 1 whole Egg
- 2 Tablespoons Ground Ginger (or Fresh Grated, Whatever You Have Or Prefer)
- 3 whole Green Onion, Chopped
- 1 package Wonton Wrappers (12 Ounce Package)
- 3 cups Broth
- Chop the precooked shrimp into very small pieces. Mix with the ground pork, egg, ginger, and green onion.
- Get out the wonton wrappers and put one teaspoon of the meat mixture into the middle of each wrapper, twist all the corners up and voila, a wonton. Repeat until you run out of meat mixture or wonton wrappers.
- I place the made wontons on a cookie sheet and freeze them until they are firm and then I transfer them to a freezer bag.
- To cook heat your broth, I've used turkey, chicken, or vegetable broth, all taste good. Put in as many or as few wontons as you would like. Let cook for 12 minutes on medium-high heat.
