Bits 'O Brickle Cookies
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 c. powdered sugar
- 1 c. margarine or butter, softened
- 1 c. oil
- 1 tsp. almond extract
- 2 eggs
- 4 1/2 c. flour
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. cream of tartar
- 2 c. coarsely chopped almonds
- 6 oz. pkg. Bits 'O Brickle
- sugar
- Blend sugars, margarine and oil until well mixed.
- Add almond extract and eggs; mix well.
- Mix dry ingredients together. Gradually blend in at low speed.
- Stir in brickle chips and almonds.
- Shape large tablespoonfuls of dough into balls; roll in sugar.
- Place on ungreased cookie sheet. With fork dipped in sugar, flatten in crisscross pattern.
- Bake at 375u0b0 for 15 minutes or until light golden brown around edges.
