Chocolate Sauce Cake

  1. Preheat oven to 350F.
  2. Cream together butter and 3/4 cups of white sugar. Add the 1/2 cup milk and vanilla and stir.
  3. Sift together flour, salt, baking powder, and 3 tablespoon cocoa powder. Combine dry and wet ingredients.
  4. Spread into greased 9x9 pan.
  5. Combine remaining 1/2 cup of white sugar, the brown sugar, and 1/4 cup cocoa powder. Sprinkle over batter.
  6. Pour the warm liquid of your choice evenly all over the top of the mixture.
  7. Bake for 30 minutes.
