Chocolate Sauce Cake
- 3/4 cups White Sugar
- 2 Tablespoons Butter
- 1/2 cups Milk
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla
- 1 cup All-purpose Flour
- 1/4 teaspoons Salt
- 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
- 3 Tablespoons Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
- 1/2 cups White Sugar
- 1/2 cups Packed Brown Sugar
- 1/4 cups Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
- 1-1/4 cup Warm Liquid (coffee Or Milk Works Best)
- Preheat oven to 350F.
- Cream together butter and 3/4 cups of white sugar. Add the 1/2 cup milk and vanilla and stir.
- Sift together flour, salt, baking powder, and 3 tablespoon cocoa powder. Combine dry and wet ingredients.
- Spread into greased 9x9 pan.
- Combine remaining 1/2 cup of white sugar, the brown sugar, and 1/4 cup cocoa powder. Sprinkle over batter.
- Pour the warm liquid of your choice evenly all over the top of the mixture.
- Bake for 30 minutes.
