Whole Grain Wheat Bread

  1. Dissolve 1 tablespoon brown
  2. sugar
  3. in warm water.
  4. Add yeast and stir;
  5. let
  6. stand.
  7. Combine
  8. 5
  9. cups flour, powdered milk, 1/3 cup brown sugar and
  10. salt
  11. in bowl.
  12. Mix on speed 2, using dough hook; slowly add
  13. yeast
  14. mixture
  15. to
  16. flour for 30 seconds.
  17. Add oil and
  18. mix
  19. for
  20. 30
  21. seconds.
  22. Add
  23. remaining flour, 1/2 cup at a time,
  24. until dough clings to hook, about 5 minutes.
  25. Clean hook and bowl.
  26. Knead on speed 2 for 7 minutes or until smooth and elastic.
