Zucchini Milano

  1. Remove casing from sausage; crumble meat.
  2. Saute in medium size frying pan 10 minutes or until brown.
  3. Remove with a slotted spoon and set aside.
  4. Pour off drippings, then measure 1 tablespoon and return to pan.
  5. Stir in zucchini and onion; saute 5 minutes.
  6. Stir in tomato sauce, sugar, garlic salt, oregano and pepper.
  7. Place sausage on top; cover.
  8. Cook slowly 15 minutes or until zucchini is slightly tender.
  9. Serves 6.
