Lemon Drop Candy Cookies

• 2 cups White Sugar
• 1-1/2 cup Butter Flavored Crisco
• 3 whole Eggs
• 2 teaspoons Pure Vanilla Extract
• 1 teaspoon Lemon Extract
• 4 cups All-purpose Flour
• 1-1/2 teaspoon Baking Powder
• 1-1/2 teaspoon Baking Soda
• 1 teaspoon Salt
• 1 whole Lemon, Zested
• 6 ounces, fluid Lemon Drops Candy Crushed
• 1 cup Confectionary Sugar
• 1 whole Lemon, Juiced

1. Preheat oven to 350.
2. Cream sugar, shortening, and eggs.
3. Add extracts.
4. Stir in dry ingredients, lemon zest, and crushed candy.
5. Roll dough into 1 inch balls, flatten slightly and bake on baking sheet for 10-12 min.
6. Let cool slightly on pan before removing.
7. Make a glaze of powered sugar and lemon juice to lightly brush the tops of the cookies with.
